Countdown to Season 10 with Bunnies

Me & Jared
Countdown:::3 days until season 10::: This is Cinnamon Bun, son of Mr. Bun and Honey Bun. The liter he came from was a complete surprise. We didn't realize that our youngest son had allowed two of the rabbits out of their cages at the same time (against strict orders not to, I might add) and voila! Babies.

I'm looking forward to season 10 more than any of the past several seasons for a couple reasons. The first one is that from what I've heard Jensen say in interviews and at conventions, he has been wanting a chance to stretch his acting wings and play the character of Dean from a different angle, just like Jared has been given the opportunity to play Sam from different angles - Soul-less Sam, possessed by an angel Sam, Lucifer Sam, etc. I believe Jensen is going to make us all proud of him because he's going to be amazing as demon Dean! You know, I feel like I've watched him grow up as an actor, from little Eric Brady in Days of Our Lives, to Ben and Alec in Dark Angel, to Jason Teague in Smallville, and now 9 years as Dean Winchester. He just keeps getting better and better!

Secondly, I'm looking forward to seeing Sam act like my head canon Sam. I want to see Sam move heaven and hell to get his brother back. I want to see just how far he's willing to go. Because the Sam who played house with Amelia for a year, or however long that was supposed to be, while his brother was missing is not the Sam that I believe in. I just can't see how the writers actually thought that was something Sam would do. So I want to see Sam in full-on, protective-Winchester-brother mode, doing everything and anything to find Dean. And I don't think this season is going to disappoint!

Thirdly, Demon Dean singing karaoke. Need I say more?

What about you? What are you looking forward to?
  • I must say that I'm looking forward to this season more than the recent ones and pretty much for exactly the same reasons as you. I love the idea of awesome Sam trying his best to get his brother back and Dean being all demon-y *jumps around just a little* :)
    • Yeah, it's gonna be awesome!!! Sadly, I don't think we're going to get demon Dean for very many episodes. Still, it'll be fun while it lasts.

Oh, BUNNIES! They are so adorable!

I'm dying here because I won't get to see the premiere until it's up online somewhere. (TV doesn't work.)

    *twitch*

Oh, I SO hope you are right! I'm terrified of this season because I'm afraid DemonDean is going to do all sorts of horrible things that will only make him feel even more guilty when he gets back to his normal self. I can't take that anymore.

But I'd give anything to see your scenario! You are so right that this passive Sam we've seen of late is not the guy we know and love. We know it's Dean's thing to always be the Big Brother. But I KNOW Sam cares about Dean equally. And we know he's a fighter as well. It would be so nice to have the writers let him show it for a change!
